The Hamburg based boxing stable Universum Box-Promotion has won the purse bid for the world title bout between Felix Sturm and Sebastian Sylvester .The fight will be staged on November 1 at the K?¶nig-Pilsener-ARENA in Oberhausen – Live on ZDF
Universum Box-Promotion won today’s WBA purse bid in Panama for the middleweight title defense of WBA world champion Felix Sturm against mandatory challenger Sebastian Sylvester. Universum bid $2,815,756 to outdistance Sauerland Events’ bid of $1,901,014 in order to stage the fight in a “Universum Champions Night” event. As a result of the successful purse-bid by Universum, the bout will take place November 1 at the K?¶nig-Pilsener ARENA in Oberhausen, Germany and will be braodcasted live on ZDF.
