Guzman’s manager, Jose Nunez stated: “We haven’t outpriced ourselves, we have agreed to the terms that Top Rank has presented us with last Wednesday and we are ready and willing to take on Pacquiao whenever he pleases..

I would also like to clarify the fact that I have been misquoted as saying that Pacquiao is scared of Guzman. I never said that, I know that Pacquiao is a great fighter with a big heart and he doesn’t ever seem to back down from a challenge, the one who is scared is Freddie Roach. Roach doesn’t want this fight. What kind of trainer doesn’t have confidence in his guy?
